Performance improvement of shell and tube heat exchanger by using Fe3O4/water nanofluid

The objective of this paper is to study the effect nanofluid on performance heat exchanger, as well transfer rate, coefficient total transfer, friction influence and average Nusselt number, thermal efficiency factor has been investigated discussed. In work, output Fe3O4/water through shell tube exchanger numerically under laminar flow. CFD simulations with ANSYS FLUENT 2020R1 were used adopting finite volume approach solve governing equations. Numerical calculations carried out for Reynolds numbers ranging from 200 1400, nanoparticles fraction (0.2% 0.35%). results show that augmentation in increase number amount rate at concentration 0.35% are approximately 19%, 25% 12% respectively. It was observed decreases increase.
